Fueled By Fire is an American thrash metal band, formed in Norwalk, California in 2002.
The band is part of the so-called wave of the Revival Thrash Metal, or the development of a musical style close to that of historical bands of the '80s like the Slayer, along with bands like Evile, Violator or Warbringer. The group's texts speak mainly of violence, insanity and illnesses in general.
History of the group
The group's line-up has undergone very few variations from its origins, with singer and guitarist Jovanny 'Gio' Herrera, lead guitarist Chris Monroy, bassist Rick Rangel and drummer Carlos Gutierrez. The young band releases two demos, Life, Death and FBF (2005) and Spread The Fire !!!!! (2006), and then again in 2006 releases his first album, with the almost identical title of Spread The Fire. Soon after, 'Gio' Herrera leaves the group, and his place is taken by bassist Rick Rangel, while the new bassist is Anthony Vasquez. Spread The Fire is re-released after the beginning of the collaboration with the label Metal Blade Records, with the addition of two new songs and a different cover.
The group's next work, Plunging Into Darkness, came out in 2010. It is characterized by a more aggressive sound, also thanks to the alternation of Rangel to the voice. It follows Trapped In Perdition, published in 2013. Training Current members
